Euthanasia, The worthy dead
The Euthanasia can be described like the voluntary intervention to a terminal patient with the intention to avoid the pain that he or she suffer, also can be associate to the end of life without suffer.
As everyone knows nobody can escape death, but people can face it in different ways and some people live his or her final moments in an awful way, so for those cases is important to respect their last wish and give it the dignity that their want and deserve.
An example is the case of Paula Diaz, a Chilean woman who suffered a terminal disease since 2013, she continue her life for five years with a lot of pain that growing every day, in January of 2019 she died because of her disease, with a lot of suffering without a proper response of the government about the option of use the Euthanasia. Here one of her tweets:
"I don´t have rest, it´s something so terrible that I can´t rest. Neither day or night (...) I can not stand my body, I can stand can´t stand it. My body is torn".
She is an example of life that a lot people live in this moment, I think everyone deserved a worthy dead and don´t suffer for long time because a terminal disease, as a persons we don´t have to suffer freely, so today we need a proper response of the government about this important aspect of the life, because nobody can´t escape death and everyone can be in the spot like Paula was.
Hey, I liked how you approached the subject and especially the use of such a close example
ResponderEliminarHello Mauricio, when I read your post it was very strong for me, I also think that people must decide on their own lives, and death is also part of them. But sometimes I think Who am I to comment on this complex experience? It's very complicated for me.
